Property surveys in Saint-Julien-Beychevelle : what you need to know

Saint-Julien-Beychevelle has two centres: the village of Saint-Julien on the plateau, and Beychevelle, facing the estuary. Almost all the older buildings are tied to wine. Winegrowers' houses in stone, low longères, cellar masters' homes and large estates of the Saint-Julien appellation follow one another along the Route des Châteaux (D2). New builds are rare and scattered.

In a winegrower's house built before 1 January 1949, a CREP (lead report) is mandatory for both sales and lettings.
